P.E.A.care abduction splint | Static Quick Release
The P.E.A.care "Static" abduction splint is used, among other things, to treat clubfeet according to the ‘Ponseti’ method. The complete orthosis consists of the P.E.A.care abduction splint, to which clubfoot shoes are attached at the ends. Using the orthosis keeps the feet in the correct abduction position and shoulder-width apart. This maintains the correction of the feet achieved with the pre-treatment and prevents relapse. The special features, design, and super-light weight of the P.E.A.care abduction splint are important reasons for choosing this component.
The P.E.A.care “Static Quick Release” differs from the P.E.A.care “Static” in that it has a quick-release coupling that allows the shoes to be quickly and easily attached to and removed from the splint.
